idk how "acknowledged" this is or whatever, but its something i have realized lately in regards to smoking weed to relieve pain.

when i first started my recent job which requires some lifting, i realized that my arms/joints started to hurt a lot more and there was pain in my forearm developing as well. i would notice that when i would smoke, which i began to do for aches and pain, it was like immediate relief. I could take just a few hits, and be relieved. the fact also that i had pain to begin with makes me think thats why it seems like im getting high faster-simply because, i notice its effects quicker.
Now im not saying its the same for glacouma {sp?} or cancer patients, but it makes me think of how politicians say they fear that even medical marijuana patients would begin abusing the drug which as youve probably seen they use as an excuse from time to time. but i just simply dont think this is the case because the relief time is incredibly fast (i cant know how it is for ppl with cancer but i imagine still it would work fairly fast.) and since i notice its effects in this manner, it makes me appreiciate it more and not smoke as much either.

i used to smoke just recreationally and never realized any of this in this perspective before, and so i just wanted to point this out, its always good to point out misconceptions. helps with the argument for getting weed legalized imo..
