I now exactly why I kept having this odd "pressure" or odd feeling after smoke and it felt like I was having sinus or TMJ symptoms. Pretty much the bones that surround the nasal sinuses and throat passages (where smoke/vapor/air travel when you inhale) hurt when I inhale hot vapor. It especially hurts when I exhale both vapor through nose! Are you even supposed to allow vapor/smoke to get to your sinuses? Its not really the bone that is hurting but the nerve inside the bone. I noticed because when I exhale regular air I put pressure on those same passages and instantly get the same sensation. The only way to calm down this pain-like sensation is by breathing very slowly through my nose without causing pressure. I wonder if vapor is even supposed to be so hot that it would hurt when holding in your lungs or blowing through your nose. Maybe the temperature burnt something in my nose/throat? Are there any temporary medication or some nose spray I can use to relieve this? Last edited by InfectedWithMJ : 03-31-2009 at 11:36 PM.

The only medication I've heard of just helps with the symptoms. this could be bad. You should talk to Your medical Doctor, on this one. there could be other reasons. If You've moved, You might be getting different air, from Elevation,or lack of it. Smoke is supposed to make an irritating sensation, to warn You of an unwanted condition. You wouldn't want to just mask, something harmful.

No, I didn't really want the other thread to be about medical issue (a vapor temp issue rather). Thanks for the help!
