| So I'm moving to California sometime in July and was interested in obtaining a MMJ license. But this is where the problem arises. I have had bad migraines starting back in 8th grade. They don't happen every day or every month, but randomly I'll get hit by it. It causes me to see "fuzzy noise" in at least one of my eyes and will usually make my entire right arm "fall asleep". It usually stays for 4-6 hours before it goes away and I start to feel better. But I have never seen a doctor for it because it doesn't happen constantly or anything, so I technically have no records of it. On top of that, I can hardly eat when I haven't smoked for whatever reason (started a few months before I started smoking back in 2006). I can easily go a full day without eating if I don't smoke, and that makes me feel unhealthy. Even when I do get hungry, I'll take a few bites but my stomach tells me that's enough. Maybe it has to do with acid reflux? (My stomach, along with my mother, is very acidic). I was thinking of seeing a doctor regularly when I move down and complain that I get the migraines constantly, ignore the medicine they give me (if they do give me any) and hopefully get a recommendation for a medical card. But with the stomach/eating issue, would I be able to go in and convince the doctor without having medical records? |

| A complaint of migraines to your doctor will almost certainly get you a trip to a cat scan machine to make sure it is not a tumor.... The doctors...the legitimate ones...are requiring more than a one time visit to a doctor for an issue, in order to show a history.... one visit a history does not make. Did you have the condition diagnosed elsewhere? You can always bring those records...I brought mine from out of state. Bottom line...no documented medical history.....no Medical Recommendation... lucky for you that weed is plentiful in the Golden State! |
