If you get recommended marijuana, where do you get your marijuana? do they let you find it yourself? Or does the government own fields specifically for medicinal use?

Depends on what state you live in...California you can get from dispensaries or grow your own, no government agency involved.

The only people the government provides weed to (here in the U.S.) are the 6 or 7 people still being provided NIDA weed.

There is a sticky right at the top of this very forum that gives state by state the medical marijuana programs.

Here in Michigan you can either get a caregiver or you can grow your own. You can even buy it off the streets if you wish....

Here in California you can grow your own. Or go to some excellent dispensaries. Here in san Francisco, where I live, are at least thirty of them all with extensive menus. Dozens of different varieties, concentrates, kief, hash, edibles or tinctures all to be had at fairly reasonable prices. Some places even take credit cards.

Buy from a dealer in Australia or grow your own. I think its tolerated if you grow one plant for personal use.
