| In my psych class today my professor said that he just got back from a meeting with his colleagues and found out something interesting. The endorphines in your body were originally thought to give people the "high" feeling after intense workouts or extreme pain. The endorphines were also supposed to be responsible for the "threshold door" which stops pain after too much is felt pretty much. So anyway in these tests done by professor William McNeal of Georiga St University the Endocannabinoids found naturally in the human body are responsible for these things, not endorphines. So when you have a very intense work out you are actually getting high in your bodies natural way. Just thought it was interesting and I wanted to share. Peace ![]()
