i live in california and iam getting my club card soon. iam setting up my appointment tomorrow. i know the limitations for my area for weight in bud, but i dont know how it works with hash. im in the bay area btw, hopefully somebody that knows can shed some light

what do u want to know. 1.are u wondering how much hash u can have. 2.or are u wondering if u are able to have it/ smoke it legally with the card.

1. if u wondering how much ur allowed to have then im pretty positive that ure allowed the state minumum of 8 ounces regardles of potency or type of marijuana as long as it is marijauna and marijuana only.


2.yes u are allowed to smoke and obtain hash at ur local mmj shop legally if u have a mmj card in california.

Nothing to add really to previous comment except that when it comes to hash I've always had good luck with "The Vapor room" in the lower Haight.

i know you can buy it at clubs, my friends told me some cops told them in mendocino that hash can still be taken for some reason. another friend of mine with a card told me that when carrying hash you need to carry it in the hash baggie with the barcode. so im not shure what to think....anybody know forshure?

btw in the city i live in im allowd to carry up to 3 pounds of bud, but i want to be shure about hash

I wouldn't carry three pounds of bud and no dispensary would sell you more then an ounce or so. A small amount (of hash) for personal use should be fine. More then that and you,d probably have to explain it to the judge.

Just going on what I've heard but Hash and other concentrates, for some reason, are treated differently than herb. A while back concentrates were one of the excuses used for raids on some dispensaries. I haven't heard much about it lately. Most dispensaries do sell concentrates. I like to keep some hash on hand so I grab a gram from time to time myself.

The MAIN gray area is edibles. You can have a 2oz brownie with only 2 grams of cannabis in it...this is why some dispensaries will not sell edibles as someone could construe it as you holding 2oz of cannabis product.

As far as hash, the amendment to prop 215 clearly states up to 8oz of dried cannabis.

Since hash is made from trichomes you might come out on top...but it could be a long battle.

I think with hash you are better off legally because you can prove exactly how much product you have, where as with a candy bar there is no way to tell since they are cooked with extracts.

Also note that although you can get your recommendation and go purchase your meds anywhere in Ca, SB420 also states that ONLY patients with a valid ID card ( NOT a Dr's recommendation ) are protected by this bill.

the issue is i wouldnt be buying my hash from clubs as it is way to expensive. thats why i asked, because i would probably be carrying over an ounce at some point and wanted to know if the whole carrying in the hash bag with the barcode is true.

a friend of mine with a card said that he was told when he got his card that when buying hash to keep it in the baggie that he bought it in because with hash you had to show proof you bought it at a club to a police officer if found with it....im just trying to figure out of its true
