It seems like anytime I smoke, that night I get extremely vivid and weird dreams. Lots involving thrilling acts. Like roller coasters (like 50000 foot high roller coasters) rocket ships, cannons, skateboards, ect. And it seems as if when I wake up in the morning I had gotten no sleep at all. I'm as tired and worn out as if I really did fly a rocketship from space into an ocean.

Just wondering if anybody else experiences weird ass dreams when they smoke.

I get similar dreams if I eat weed to help me go to sleep. Not always but sometimes I wake up and feel worn out from intensive dreaming.

Interestingly I also have intense dreams about smoking pot when I am not an active smoker and have talked with alcoholics and heroin addicts who have similar experiences.

Not Real Life

Yeah, I've experienced the same thing. I almost always smoke at night and sometimes I have unusually exciting and memorable dreams but I always feel rested.

I used to date a girl who would always fall asleep after smoking and she complained of not feeling rested when she woke up. I've never felt that because marijuana eases me into sleep but doesn't make me pass out or anything like she did.

I get exactly the opposite effect, thank God! I have a sleep disorder that causes me to dream constantly and never get any deep sleep. Marijuana is quite effective at suppressing REM sleep for a while, so vaping before going to bed insures that I'll get at least a couple of hours of deep sleep.

Nicotine patches will give you wierd dreams. Once I got busted and had to go to rehab. Another pothead their told me that if I say im addicted to nicotine, they can give me patches, since smoking wasn't alowed. I only smoke cigars on occasion, so I'm definitely not addicted, but I figured I might as well get some, and I did. That first night I had a REALLY weird dream, it was vivid, and I felt like I was floating, and spinning, I actually really liked it, so I did the same thing the next couple nights, until they stoped giving me patches, lol.

Pot on the other hand does quite the opposite, I rarely dream when I go to bed high. I will fall asleep very quickly and I will sleep deeply, and continuously the entire night. Generally I'm a very light sleeper, and I'll wake up several times in the night. Also, after sleeping stoned, I wake up feeling VERY good and refreshed, which is why I never got why all the anti pot people say that it disturbs sleep.... Although they also have said it makes "negros" go into a sex frenzy and rape pure, christian, white women folk.

I almost never have dreams, but I have really vividness just before closing my eyes to fall asleep when im high.

I always find that when I fall asleep when I shouldn't, such as in the middle of the day, I have some weird ass dreams

and falling asleep listening to music in the afternoon makes for even weirder dreams

I have more vivid dreams and I remember A LOT more when I go to bed after having not smoked (a rarity). I remember tiny little bits and pieces if anything usually when I have smoked.

I just feel tired when I wake up, that's it..
and sometimes, I get like, flashes or something for 2 seconds..
