Hello everyone, how are you all doing?

I wanted to say a few things that happened to my some months ago and ask if anything similar has happened to you or if there is any "test" to explain this.

Some time ago I was down with a horrible cold, I mean runny nose, headache, sore throat, couldn't breath right (through my nose), etc. etc. I used to smoke daily, so the cold didn't set me back, I still smoked through it and to my amazement, I felt better when I was "under the influence". My nose dried up, my headache dissapeared and well, my sore throat didn't get much better, but I didn't cough as much (suprisingly enough!).

I was wondering, has this happened to you? Any comments?

i agree totally, though i suspect its more of an illusion, to my mind it would mask the symptoms not really relieve them... but even though its totally harsh on your throat when you got a cold or flu, MJ alleviates all the negative symptoms to some degree! and thats smoking grav bong hits so a sublingual dropper would be dandy for this thing i reckon...

i guess thats why we cant 'cure' the common cold, god already had that one sorted before we even grasped consciousness

Yeah, you're right, it doesn't get rid of all the symptoms, the headache and sore throat come back after the high is out. But the runny nose seems to go away for a long time, at least in my experience.

I too noticed when I smoke while I have a cold, I feel much much better.

Heh, yeah, but there's more! Not only does it take the symptoms away for about 2 hours and comes with a "limitless" intake (hey, hasn't been 2 hours yet? well, what the heck, smoke some more if you want to, it won't kill you ), it also comes with an "upper" side, it gets you high and you feel good for those two hours, not just "symptom-free".
