Not DESTRUCTION, but you are being hurt from the smoke and not the marijuana you are smoking.
I think you will be okay but it will hurt for a little bit. Don't quote me on that though because you might need to go to a doctor if the condition is getting worse or not improving.
So, lesson learned. Next time, don't take huge painful hits...

Hash is actually safer to smoke. It can get pretty hot once you get a good burn going, and especially if you try to take huge hits frequently, that can make it kind of painful, but that shouldn't make your lungs bleed. Hash has a strong taste, and it can seem kind of un weedlike at first, add that with the fact that after you smoke hash you are usually stoned off your ass, and you may misinterpret the taste as blood. If you are truly worried about blood what you should do is get a piece of paper, hold it in front of your mouth and give a few good strong and deep coughs, if there blood in your airways then you will see dots of blood.
