Thanks everyone for all the great info... I met with a Dr. and discussed my medical history ect... He felt Cannabis was worth a try, and I am definitely open to trying alternatives to the addictive prescription meds I was given... I have started off with a minimal amount at night of a Sativa Hybrid called "Blue Dream" (80% Sativa 20% Indica)... I went off my prescription meds and am already starting to feel better and like my old self again... We will see how things progress........

Hey Fade,

I really do hope you get through the anxiety and depression. I have battled with most (more anxiety than depression though) since my teenage years. I have tried several SSRI medications and the first couple had horrible side effects, including horrible fatigue and loss of emotions (Paxil was the worse of the two), I am currently on a low dose of another brand am really trying to find an alternative to it because the long term effects of some of the medications are not known. I know that marijuana has helped me with the anxiety tremendously when I have used it but I am not in a position to smoke because like you I have family around. I am looking to alternatives such as ingestion...

Blue dream is an amazing strain. Great sativa high. I think it will do you wonders.

I'm glad marijuana is helping, that's really good to hear. It's especially good that you got off of those prescriptions, not only are they not very good for your body, but they can start an addiction that could screw up your life. Marijuana is just so natural and effective, I think it's going to really help you out in life.

Hey I just dropped in to give an update... Getting my recommendation has really helped me... The medicinal marijuana has worked great, and I feel almost entirely like my old self again... It really has worked wonders... I was doing sooo badly on those original prescriptions, I hope none of them did any permanent damage to me...

I have stuck to what has worked which for me is blue dream... This strain in moderation has worked wonders for my anxiety and depression... I have seen a large improvement in all aspects of my life... It is a shame medicinal marijuana is only available in a handful of states... Maximum respects to Mary Jane...
