weird side effect for eyes

my left eye seems to be considerably lower than my right eye after smoking marijuana. i have researched that thc can lower your eye pressure?

is it possible my left eye's pressure has decreased substancially lower than my right eye? my eyes have never been crooked before i started smoking.

i really don't think marijuana is for me. is this side effect permanent?

I've never heard of this, and maybe your description isn't very clear, what do you mean by lower? Like a lazy eye? Is it only when you smoke? Try not smoking for a couple days, does your eye still "stay lower?" Elaborate more please.

This isnt a dumb question, the same happens to me. Its is actully my left eye as well. Its not the eye but the eye lid. My left one closed about half way while my right only closes about 1/3. When i am sober my left eye lid still hangs a little lower, but not nearly as much. Try to use some clear eye or something, that helps sometimes.

Is this the product of marijuana use? And is this noticable? I am very self conscious about this lately.

Can i fix this with surgery or something? My eyelid is messed up too...

You have discovered, through the magic of marijuana, that very few human faces are perfectly bilaterally symmetrical. I can see what you mean, now that you've pointed it out, but it is well within normal variations. You could be a lot more uneven and still nobody would notice it because our perceptual apparatus automatically corrects for it. But when you're high some of those automatic filters stop working and you see things more as they physically are.

Absolutely correct. I have the same problem, except it was a damn barber that decided to make me self conscious.

My ears aren't exactly balanced and my eyes aren't balanced. One important lesson that I've learned is that if you draw attention to your flaws people tend to notice them, so if it's something that can't be changed just forget about it.

I notice lots of weird **** about my face on weed, so I just ignore mirrors until I'm sober as much as I can, keeps my high nice and happy.
