Whaddup guys, I've been smoking for about 3 years now, and Im wondering if I'm too dependent on marijuana. I've personally had alot of up's and down's with smoking. There was a phase where it socially stimulated me, then to a phase where it made me paranoid, on to a phase to where it made me unhappy and ext. Now when I smoke, afterwards I always feel bored as hell. For example before I always use to smoke and then doing something active (sports, gym).. Now I find myself smoking and doing absolutley nothing and while Im high, I'm always trying to figure out what to do, which I can never seem to find the answer to. All my friends are the same way so they are no help. Getting to my point, latley I've found myself wanting to smoke so bad, but even if I do smoke it is not that enjoyable anymore. The true friends that I have known for a long time , it seems like we are all socially addicted to weed. We basically dont socialize with each other unless it invovles weed. Coming to the question, has smoking gone too far for me. Should I cut down... or find new friends :-/

I dont think we can be the ones to tell you that. If you think so, then maybe you have. Take a break for a week or two. See if that helps any. And if not, and you go back to smoking, hey, your tolerance will have lowered and the first time you smoke again will get you HHHHIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!

Wait, you're only friends with them if it involves weed? WTF?! Those are not your friends man. Also, always think before you smoke, think of something to do before you smoke, try going to the mall, movies, experiencing new things, weed gets boring if you only get high at school or the same place everyday!
Find friends that will hang out with you if you have the ganja or not, those are your friends. The best thing is smoke weed at night, when you're at a party or w.e, then you go to bed while you're still feeling a bit high, it's gooooood, you'll feel better the other day. I've been smoking weed at school for the past 2 weeks, man you don't know how boring it is, we usually smoke around 11am, when the school ends at 2:30...I'm wasted. Time goes soooo slow it's not even funny dude, then I get home, tired as **** and do nothing!

I recommend smoking weed when you wanna relax or when you're having fun at a party or something like that, otherwise you'll be bored as **** trust me.

It's -SO- easy to overdo it. You'll find yourself smoking and then wonder "why did I do that?" If you make yourself skip it every so often, you'll have a greater appreciation for it when you do smoke. And you'll have more money in your pocket!!

I figure I'll give it a month break. I personally think I've over done smoking. And I think your mistaken SPIKE. We are not friends with each other just because to smoke weed. We SMOKE with each other.. We are smoking buddies, I'd consider them my friends cuz we are there for each other even when it really doesnt invovle weed, but when we are chilling with each other all we wanna do is smoke. I think it's time for me to throw in the towel for now. Sure I'd love smoking till the day I die, but its just not reasonable for me. It takes so much money out of my pockets. I'd atleast rather save up, detox, then buy an oz and smoke as opposed to buying 8ths every other day.

Yeah I need to find that appreciation that I use to have for weed when I started smoking. . . .

Saving up for an oz is a great idea. Not only is it usually cheaper in bulk, but also one can sell some and put the cash back in your pockets so that they arent always so empty. Also, smoking buddies are perfectly fine, my best of friends and i always love to enjoy a good relaxation smoke especially during a party. Hope that clears something up.

My friends hate me because I smoke. I took a break...then realised the few friends I barely had, sucked lots more when I wasnt numb... :S
