I know this is a stupid question, but what does it feel like to be high on pot? Would other people be able to notice it if I did not want them to?

It really depends on your amount of self control and just how high you are. If you smoke a lot and get really high a bug could notice but if you just smoked enough to get buzzing you most likely wouldn't be noticed.

The best thing to do is smoke some weed when there is no fear of being caught. If this is impossible you might consider going to a friend's house where their parents don't care. This may be hard to find but if you can't find someone like this you might consider just going to a fellow stoners house because he would know how to get high at his house without getting caught.

If it will be your first time smoking it would be advised that you not get high in a situation that you could easily get caught because god only knows just how you might act. I am not saying anything dangerous would happan, just that it would be very obvious to people that you are high if you are laughing your ass off.

Also, there seems to be a small amount of people that seem not to get high the first time that they smoke weed. This has even been known to happen upwards of the persons 3-4 time smoking. If you do not get high, such as a lot of laughter, a wonderful feeling, tingling, many other things, even up to a few times it is either that you are in this small group or you are smoking really weak weed.

Either way, all I have to say is try to get high in a safe enviroment and happy tokin'.

The first time you ever smoke weed, yes other people will be able to tell. People who aren't completely naive, anyway. =) After you smoke a few times, you get used to how it makes you feel and even though you still feel it you are still able to act "normal" while you are high, if the situation calls for it.

How does it feel? Well it has a variety of effects. It increases your heart rate and makes you feel really good, for one. It makes you hungry (the "munchies"). It impairs your short-term memory, which means you'll have trouble remembering what you were talking about five minutes ago, although you'll be positive that whatever it was it was hilarious (hehe).

Just try it and find out if you're curious. There's absolutely zero chance it will hurt you or kill you, unless you take other drugs with it or have a preexisting medical condition that would be affected by it.

But start slow. If you smoke too much, it can make you lightheaded, or make you cough your lungs out (normally it doesn't hurt, but if you cough a hundred times in a minute it starts to burn hehe), or make you throw up (if you smoke enough, just like tobacco or drinking alcohol). Just go easy, take a few (maybe a half dozen or a dozen hits), then see how it makes you feel.

You'll probably like it. Most people do, once they've tried it. =)

Wow man, you have to try it (assuming you are of a decent age).

I didn't get high my first few times of smoking, so don't expect too much, you will know if you are high or not, and when you realise it, you will be laughing your arse off!

For me:
My heartbeat quickens, my eyelids feel a bit heavier (like being drunk), I feel more relaxed and more ready to laugh. I nearly always have really deep meaningful thoughts and ideas (which I always believe to be the meaning of life at the time!).
Depending on who I am around I might feel a bit paranoid that I am acting like a fool, but if you are with good friends you won't care.
I am pretty thirsty most of the time whilst smoking and about half an hour after a session I get the biggest munchies (the floating walk to the chip shop is always good!).

Generally it is similar to being drunk, but without being stupid or feeling angrier and more violent.

I feel weed has helped me to get to know myself better, and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering experimenting. I am trying to get my Dad to smoke with me, but I can't see it happening!
