ok, its not just because im high. im familiar with the high... ive been smoking for a year and a half (which i suppose isnt that long, but im not THAT new to it).

i did an experiment where i timed this phenomina, and it takes just about a minute from the flick of the lighter to the exhaling of smoke.

the trip is most intense right as i let the smoke out and inhale again.

I have had the exact same thing happpen to me man, and I completely understand your frustration with an answer to it. I just read all the posts to this and it is very apparent that they dont understand. You described it perfectly right to me but to them you didnt because you almost cant it is the kind of thing like explaining love to an eight year old so they know exactly, and NO you all arent being called 8 year olds here. I have been trying to figure away to explain it so it is understood by those who have no idea what it feels like and what it doesnt.

This is how I feel it. I will take like maybe 4 or 5 hits with nothing really coming on...I will take the next hit and it is as if I had stored all the THC and such up in my lungs and it gets delivered all at once. I can feel the high coming and it grows...fingers get warm and tingly, sounds get muffled, vision slightly tunnels and a foggyness covers all...it then moves to a feeling of extreme lightheadedness and a floaty oneness. I use oneness because it feels like your are demoleculerizing and its whispy fingers connect to everything. This will continue to progress until I pass out unless I stop it before it goes so far. When the wave has passed I have a really smooth pleasant buzz. But WAIT here is the best part of it, if I were to take another I may or may not feel it again and more often than not I dont.

So, if it had to do with O2 or CO2 levels in blood it would recur the next time and since there is no way my blood normalized that quickly I disregard those hypothesis quickly.

This is not repeatable in any way without mj. I had not been so good when I was younger and have tried a few things and nothing I tried came close to it except for maybe a close feeling to whip-its (nitrous oxide) but not quite.

Ok, I hope this helps some to find the root of it, I am also quite curious about it also, but never really identlified as unique to a select few.
