|  No drink = No smoke? After almost killing myself on my motorcycle while in a blackout I have decided that I'm an alcoholic and I can not drink anymore. Smoking marijuana is one of my favorite things to do. I also suffer from depression and anxiety and find that marijuana has helped me deal with these maladies, as well as removing my desire to drink at times. I've been told that in order for any serious alcoholic to stop drinking they must also abstain from other drugs including marijuana. As I consider marijuana my green prozac I find this hard to accept. Has anybody had any experience with this? Are there any websites or literature related to this subject? |

|  when my brother was diagnosed with alcoholism, he too was an avid fan of the green. However, he took it positivly and decided that everytime he would usually drink instead he would substitute the alcohol with weed. He got higher more often but eventually he stopped drinking ( and with the help of AA).

| A tribe in Africa would actually force alcohol drinkers to smoke cannabis to kick their habit
