So, I just read an article that says bong water may actually absorb proportionally as much THC as tar from weed. I think thats crazy! because man, bongs smack me on the ass (with stoned-ness) when i compare with smoking from pipes.

I believe a test is in order!
Now, what i ask of you fellow stoners is to join in a scientific process to try to find an answer to the question plaguing humanity for generations:
are bongs or pipes more effective modes of smoking Marijuana?

what is this scientific process you ask?
first, you'll need a pipe and a bong. but perhaps for consistency's sake, we can use just the bong, using it once filtered with water, second time with no water.

second, try to get two equal sized bowls of weed ready. just enough for one semi-decent hit. and of course, make sure the weed is of the same strain, same part of the plant. as equal as possible. you guys know what im talking about.

third, now smoke a bowl from the bong (with water) and chill. make note of state of stoned-ness.

fourth, after you have completely (or mostly) come down from the first bowl, smoke the second. this time without water. chill out and make note of state of stoned-ness.

Now to ensure this experiment is as controlled as possible, make sure you're in the same mood both times you smoke. if theres music playing the first time... make sure you're doing the same thing the second time. hold the hit for the same amount of time. light the bowl the same. try to keep everything the same. im sorry if im being a prude, but this is stoner science.
