| Hi, I've been smoking marijuana almost every day for the past year and quit when I recently became ill with minor stomach problems (nausea, possible food poisoning), and since then I find it hard to eat, like stuff doesn't taste that great, and I wanted to know if perhaps this lack of appetite is a side effect of discontinuing my usage. When I wake in the morning I have a "hungry" feeling accompanied with nausea, but as soon as I eat something I usually feel better. We're all aware of the appetite stimulation, but could it do the opposite in certain cases? Anyway, I just wanted to hear from some people who have dealt with this or have heard of something similar, and maybe some advice to stimulate my "sober" appetite. Thank you. |

| Lack of appetite after quitting from moderate-to-heavy use is definately a reason. There are threads regarding this though, please do a search. Thread Closed.
