Marijuana and poisen ivy

Alright, this may sound silly but I was wondering if smokeing Mj will help with itch relief? Im asking this because im 16 years old and Ive just gotten posien ivy in the last weak, and that Im having a major allergic reaction. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated

I doubt smoking will help, but rubbing some cannabis oil on your skin would work much better, if it does at all that is.

I've actually tried to use marijuana for misquito bites. Although is doesn't "relieve" the itching, it did make me forget about them for a while.

Try chewing it up, and applying the chewed up herb to the spot with the poison ivy.

No...it has no effect on Poison Ivy or any other dermatitis type condition.

In fact it's inhibition releasing action will make it less likely that you will control yourself from scratching.

On the otherhand, you will note when the itching is increasng and self medicate with the proper topical ointments available for the condition and/or seek medical attention if the itching becomes excessive -- soemthing anon-pot smoker might avoid doing.

The call is up to you...

Smoke wisely ... and take care of yourself. Also, in the future, wear long pants and knee high socks.
