My hubby had a mega whitie last night, passed out cold, seemed like he stopped breathing for a bit, ok ok yes I was in a panic, called an ambulance, I know I know, fortunately, the Doc was quite cool, gave him somthing in the drip and he recovered like a switch had been flicked, but it has really scared me, anyone out there with USEFULL info, know anything about the after effects? was it just a case of too much?? Could it be the change from hash to weed? gratefull for any ideas.

I've had that a couple of times after smoking weed, what helped for me was to stop smoking and drinking at the same time, eating proper and avoiding stress. It could be a variety of reasons why he passed out though.

Hiya, a "Whitie" where we come from, is when one has partaken in too much weed and goes pale and dizzy, hence "Whitie" "Mega Whitie" is when you pass out and in my hubbys case, stopped breathing, blood sugar level checked, so afraid to admit, weed was to blame. Hope this helps with the UK/Europe lingo!

Not a problem...we need to add it to Glossary of Terms.

The kidz referring to getting naseaus as "greening" so I had a reasonably good idea what whiting must be.

Excellent about the blood sugar being normal. If it happens again (even slightly) to him, I'd suggest a blood pressure check to make sure everything is groovy on that end of things. If he is a bit sedentary -- he may want to chek with his doctor before starting a moderate exercise routine.

I always reccomend walkng the dog.
