Hi. I suppose this would be my first post, so introductions are in order. I'm a student, 18, in Eugene, Oregon, and I've got a pretty good story of my first experience with marijuana.

I was attending a leadership conference in Portland, and was feeling absolutely horrible. I had a fever and headache, wasn't eating, and it was by sheer power of will that I dragged myself to the event. Aspirin did nothing for me, so my friends (Who were enjoying it for somewhat more socials reasons) offered me a little chronic. I was a bit wary, as I was a fairly...Shall we say, "innocent" person (Which I still give my friends grief over for "corrupting" me, ). But, options exhausted, feeling like a 5-ton truck was weighing over me and in the company of friends I trusted, I tried it.

The effect was almost immediate and beyond anything I could have expected. By the time I had finished my second hit, my fever had broken, which I found to be interesting. I knew that it had a number of medical applications, but I didn't think it would help me like that, and I can't accept coincidence for my fever breaking a minute or so after my first hit. By three hits, my headache was almost gone and I have to say I was pretty well off. Since my friends were in the same boat, noone did anything when it kept getting refilled and passed around, and by the end of it, I was pretty toasted. I ended up smoking my friends under the table, rocking back and forth, thoroughly enjoying myself for the rest of the night, eating half my friend's trail mix, and waking up the next morning feeling great and recovering from whatever had ailed me.

Anyway, that really turned me onto marijuana, and I think that before I dose myself with aspirin when I'm feeling horrible, I might just call a friend. Anyone else have a story to share?
