One time when I smoked I started to get twitches. That was fine but then it turned into major convulsions. Any ideas.

If this only happened one time I doubt that it is related to marijuana. Were there any flashing lights (like strobes) in the room? Faulty fluorescent lights that flickered? It sounds like a seizure disorder. Have you had convulsions before? You might think about getting yourself checked over by a neurologist.

I have a friend with a seizure disorder who smokes every day and it doesn't give him seizures. When he drinks too much or doesn't get enough sleep he gets them.

Think about the day the convulsions occurred and look for possible triggers, something unusual or unique about the day.

Well, go to your doctor then. A lot of people automatically assume that because something health-related happened to them and because they smoked cannabis that that is the blame. "**** happens," just don't assume it's cannabis first.

I think the only reason why people would think that it is Marijuana is that because they are doing something that is illegal, then they assume that that is bad. Also, because Marijuana might make experiences more sensational they can also make it seem that bad things may happen whilst on the drug.

I agree with others here.
Go see a doctor. Chances are, the fact that you were smoking weed either was coincidental or relaxed you enough to allow the convulsions to occur.
I had a gf whose sister had epilepsy.
Strange convulsions would come on every time she ate tomatoes.
The doctor didn't even know how to interpret that since she had no allergies.
Talk to a doc about the convulsions honestly and openly and get to the bottom of it. Your health comes first.

sometimes the weed can become adulterated with additives, (thank the War on Drugs for that) you might hav a laced bag of pot. If you think that is the case, you can wash your weed off with filtered water and let it dry then try again with a little bit. otherwise, I would change dealers if you dont know the guy and throw out your bag and start over with new stuff. or you could grow your own organic cronic which is the best bet. then you wont be supportin' the terrorists : yea right!
