I have never smoked a day in my life. cigarettes...cigars...marijuana...nothing. I was with a few of my friends just kick'n in a few days ago, and we got onto the topic of marijuana. One of my friends says that she does it after exams, another does it once in a bluemoon. I was the only person who hadn't tried it. This has been the roughest semester of my life...and we are all kinda looking forward to the end of the semester. So when the semester ends...we want to throw a real party. Not too many people...just close friends...but we all want to have a big time. Weed was brought up...and they asked me if I would be opposed to doing it. I told them that I have never really thought about it...but I guess that I would try. Enough with the story telling... onto the questions.

what sort of response would I expect from Marijuana?
is there a limit that one should smoke the first time?
are there any sexual side effects that I should be aware of (couple of girl friends might be over)?
do graduate schools test for marijuana? Does anyone know the medical or graduate school testing procedure?
does the military test for marijuana? does anyone know the military's testing procedure?



I am a pretty intelligent person...and that is why I have come to you for some answers (probably the best place that you could go for questioning about this topic). I am not sure yet if I want to go through with it...just because I am afraid of it being in my system when trying to get into med school or the military. I would appreciate anyone's and everyone's opinion on this. thanks.

You should smoke until you feel high and not worry too much about it... you cant OD on marijuana. I am pretty sure graduate schools do not test. The millitary does I know this for a fact. When you go in they will ask you if you have ever smoked/ recently smoked... do not lie be truthful and they wont care; lie and you will be dishcharged. If you smoke while in the millitary and are caught then you will have a problem but many still do. As for sexual effects all u got to worry about is it makin u too stupid to put on a condom(j/k) no worries!

Some people don't get high the first time they smoke. If you do, everything will get more interesting, things will taste better, jokes will be funnier, music will reveal great depth and detail. Physiologically, your heart will speed up a bit and your mouth and eyes will get dry. Your short-term memory will get shorter. You may forget what you're saying in the middle of a sentence.


The good thing about smoking as a method of getting THC into your bloodstream is that you can titrate your dosage very effectively. Take a couple of tokes, wait ten minutes to gauge effect, repeat as needed.


Being high makes every kind of sensation more intense. Making out under the influence is not to be missed.

It's great, as long as your mouth isn't so dry you disgust yourself and the other person at the same time! I'm speaking from personal experience here. Get some water first.
