|  MJ, safe for pregnant user?.. gud day everyone!  my wife is 3 months pregnant right now and she can't wait for another 6 months to hit again. so i just want to ask anyone out there whose knowledgeable of this.... 1. is it safe for her and my baby to take mj eventhough she's not smoking it?. i mean she's adding it to pancakes etc... 2. if not... is it safe for my baby whose gon'na be breastfeed after born if she's taking mj?. all serious advise will be highly appreciated. thanks! | A lot of people are going to tell you that pregnant women shouldn't use any drugs. A study of a community of Jamaican women and newborns showed no problems from smoking pot. The law is a problem. In some places, pregnant women who get caught with marijuana in their systems are prosecuted for child endangerment. Same thing if a baby tests positive due to marijuana components being passed in breast milk. Women have been jailed for the remainder of their pregnancies and children have been placed in foster care. It doesn't matter if the marijuana is smoked or ingested. Your wife and child would still test positive.
