| I'm just curious as to whether or not anybody gets headaches when they're coming down - and I'm not talking about after you smoke the worthless, seedy stuff either. This probably had more to do with how I felt BEFORE I smoked, but still...I've had minor headaches in the past, after smoking. This one, though, wow -- it was like someone jabbed an ice pick into my eye, and I mean it. I was contemplating actually SHOVING some sort of utensil into my other eye to take the pain away from the left side of my head. Talk about a migraine. I took 4 tylenol in 2 hours, 2 allergy pills because it hurt to breathe, and passed out. I figured if I died it would have been better than lying there with what felt like a fractured skull. It was good stuff, too. Maybe a bit dry, but not bad. Few puffs and I was feelin' good. And I do believe I learned a valueble lesson. If you need to cough, do it. My chest was aching after that just because I tried not to be a "pansy" and I suppressed it. Aching chest and aching head are cause of death, say wise man. |

| I don't get headaches, but my girl does. One thing I can't stress enough is drink tons of water. F the beer, pop, and other crap, and you will be rewarded. I used to get terrible headaches, and increased (significantly) my water intake, and haven't had a headache since. | |

| Lep, if this is a chronic problem, that's one thing. But if you have been having these reactions just from this one bag of weed, I'd ditch it unless you can really vouch for where it came from. YOu never know man, you could be getting those headaches from smoking a hefty dose of pesticide, or from some miracle grow used for foliar feeding, or even some government exfoliant crop dusted over a field. My suggestion if the headache just comes from this bag only : flush it down the toilet. |

I've had migraines for years but weed was never the cause of them. most of the time, the complete opposite actually. I've gotten headaches from sheer lack of oxygen (smoke to much... hotbox, etc...) and some sh**ty stuff but If you have primo chronz, you shouldn't have a problem. Best guess, your stuff was sprayed with some sh*t. I can't really tell you what it might be, but find others who have smoked that batch and see how they felt?? and I'd suggest not smoking anymore of that, even if others said they were fine cuz iz it really worth the chance that you might end up with another icepick in the eye?? | |

| Howdy!! I agree with everything already said. There are some vascular changes that accompany smoking marijuana. Blood vessel relaxation and constriction and what-not. If A different strain of pot does the same thing, you might want to get your head examined (no pun intended) Have your blood pressure checked. While you're having a headache if possible. And drink lotsa water. Have someone give you a good deep massage focusing on the shoulders, neck, and base of skull. Sometimes muscles tighten up a bit when *medicated* and a good massage will relax them, bring a sense of peace to you, and the headache soon goes away. ~~hb | |

| I too often get headaches. I usually fall asleep and after my head hurts to a degree. One thing I would advise against is holding in your breathe. True, it gets you higher but research has shown that it kills cells with oxygen deprivation. Drink plenty of water too that seems to help. |
