hey all, I have a question. As some of you may know, weed is a natural pain killer...I was wondering does the pain killing effect always work or does it eventually go away with tolerence? And if so how long would it take for the tolerence to take effect?

The tolerance depends on weight, metabolism, how much smoked(quantity), how many times a day, etc.

The tolerance works as follows: The more you smoke, the easier it is for your cannabinoid receptors to turn on, then producing dopamine (I believe a natural painkiller itself.) But Also, the more you smoke over time, the more Thc needs to enter the cannabinoid receptors to turn on higher.

Simplified version: It takes less to get you high, but more to get you more high (for people that have smoked regularly, say once a day or so)

I am new to this site so I'm not sure where this question belongs.
Though I am new at growing, I am acient at smoking.
Question.
Will a male plant produce buds?
I am pretty sure I have a male plant but reluctant to pull it as I only have two plants, I am in hope of the other one being female, the plants are aprox.
twelve to thirteen feet apart.

Here is a link to some information on how to sex your plant. As for your question regarding your two existing plants, a male plant does not produce "buds" per say, but they do produce flowers in the form of bell shaped pollen clusters. Male flowers contain little THC, and are generally of no use to a cultivator unless they are keep for seed stock.

Once identified, the male plant should be separated as soon as possible, preferably in differant rooms, or even inventoried outside.

Hey, i just registered to this forum, I must say most everything I've read here seems kind and well-mannered. I have been in agony for well over a month and am looking into growig some medicinal strains but I know jack squat about the differences in terms of pain-killing effects. I have been growing for about a year using either soil or SWC/DWC (techniques used in that order on same plant )
so I am confident in my skills. All I have right now is a 400 watt HPS which works well in my small room which translates into 50 watts/SqFt.

Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!
