Well, i have known that my dad smokes for about a year now and i was cool with it. I figured he did it with a neighbor recreationally. This was all up until about 5 mins ago when i go looking for his stash in the garage. I was looking in the cubord where he usually keeps it when i came across a medicine bottle. I didnt find this to strange because it makes sense to use as a storage means, then i read the label and its for medical cannibus (sp?). The bottle seems pretty old and says its for use with Aids, Aneroxia and some other diseases. This got me thinking what if my dad has a perscription, or did at one point. When he was a kid he had to get a bunch of eye surgurys and had to wear a patch and still wears glasses. My questions is if there is any way to find out who all has perscriptions, like a directory. I plan on asking him about it now but i thought i'd ask here since he is asleep right now.

Marijuana is not available by prescription in the United States and hasn't been since it was removed from the US pharmacopeia shortly after the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937. Only medicines in the pharmacopeia can be prescribed.

Since AIDS didn't exist before the early 80s, I suspect that the prescription is a joke.
