Last night my friend rolled a joint containing a gram of purple.. this was my first time smoking this strain of weed. We had just been smoking tobacco out of a hooka moments earlier, so i was still in hooka mode when i took my first hit.... way too large, and went into a coughing fit, almost threw up. I had 4 or 5 smaller hits after that. We loaded up and went over to the movies to watch willy wonka. My body felt really strange. I thought my heart was beating really fast, though i could not tell from my pulse. I could feel the blood rushing through my viens, pulsing, and the blood pulsing in the back of my head. My body was shaking and i couldn't speak without my voice shaking unless i really tried. While watching the movie, i was certain that i was going to have a heart attack and die on the spot. I was close to calling 911 because i was feeling so strange. This lasted for a long time, but when i was able to calm down, everything was fine. WTFM8?

No one has overdosed on marijuana. Theoretically it could be possible-- you can theoretically overdose on *anything*, but to do so, you'd have to smoke A LOT of weed. We're talking pounds upon pounds. You'd die from smoke inhalation before you even came close to toxic levels of THC.

I've had panic attacks before, to the point where I threw up. After a while, with more experience, they usually go away on their own.

The next time you feel your heart beating that fast, just tell yourself
"It's a natural reaction to the drug. I can't die from it, my heart is fine. It's just beating a little faster, and I'm getting paranoid about it." Then take a few really deep breaths and close your eyes for a minute. You'll feel right as rain.

I think you would pass out long before you had enough in you to induce a comatose state. Passing out is fine, because you wake up from it. =)
