| Some of the Kottonmouth Kings tracks are a great time. Such as Kottonmouth Kings - Let the Sunshine. |

| I think that while we perceive music differently when we're high, it doesn't change our musical tastes forever like some of you are saying. For example, Beatlejuice - I don't necessarily think it was the weed that made you switch from NOFX to Floyd to Martyn. You were 13 when you listened to that "punk" shit (real punk came from the 70's / early 80's), how many of you guys can honestly say you listen to exactly the same music as you did when you were 13? Not me, that's for sure. I think it's just a result of your musical tastes maturing and you opening up your mind to new things (which weed can assist in, but isn't required). Everyone does it whether they smoke or not. |

| My tastes changed a lot from age 13+, but that was because I used to be hella closed-minded back in the day. When I started looking at things in general differently (anything from politics to art) I started to also appreciate music that I didn't have any appreciation of before. And the main reason I became more open minded was MJ. I was like "wha, me do DRUGS? POPOSTROUS" when my girlfriend who smoked (but you never woulda guessed it) suggested it to me. But after I did it and I didn't become a "lazy pothead" (this was a long time ago guys) I started viewing everything in a different way. I would get high and see/hear things that normally I wouldn't pay attention to, like little drum clicks and the bass guitar (I never gave a damn about the bass's role in music until I started getting high) which in turn made me appreciate music that normally didn't really impress me. Because I started concentrating on art more than I did before and the fact that I viewed everything a little differently after I found out that "drugs" didn't do what TV and school said they would do, I in turn started hearing things in a different way. So I guess you could say the way I heard music did change as a result of marijuana use. I don't think it actually chemically changed my brain though...
