Hi Everyone
I am light smoker. Probably 2-3 hits a week and here is my story.
Stopped smoking 9 years ago. Marriage, kids, blah, blah.
Had some family problems and asked my friend at work if he could get some for me. He was back in an hour with some good stuff.

I went home and smoked it. It was awesome. I felt great and laughed alot watching "Jackass the Movie".
Soon I ran out. I asked him for more but he was out. Ever since then I was cursed.

I purchased some more, two different times from two different people. After just taking one (1) hit, it was bad. It would just knock me out. No laughs, no focuse, no nothing.
The stuff was just too strong

On my last purchase I got the call from a friend who claims that he found lighter stuff. I purchased it. It was green. Smelled right. Cost was ok too.

I smoked it...just one hit....just one.
Got slashed again and can't even remember how I ended up in bed.

I am desperate. I want to be light headed. Laugh. Watch the movie or just have the plain sex while being high.
I smoke from the pipe without adding anything to it. Am I doing something wrong? I would never thought that smoking pot would feel so bad...
Please help. Please

Consider yourself fortunate! All you need to do is cut back. You'll have a great time and you'll be able to make an 1/8 last for two months. If one hit is too much then smoke half a hit. If half a hit is too much, smoke a quarter hit.

Take a tiny hit and wait ten minutes for the head to develop. If it's enough, fine. If you'd like more, take another tiny hit, wait ten minutes to see where it puts you. Repeat as needed.

You're just really sensitive and don't need very much to get high. This may change and probably will as you get used to weed again.

But isn't that strange that after 9 years I smoked the whole joint and was ok.
Some suggest cutting a little bit with tobacco.

Different dope, different potency, different balance of cannabinoids. Some marijuana is of the Sativa strain, which gives you the energetic, cerebral high. Other marijuana is of the Indica strain, which tends to produce the more sedative body stone. Many varieties are crosses that have different qualities of both root strains.

I've found that using a vaporizer, even Indica dope vapes like a Sativa, giving the clear, energetic sort of high.

Some people like to mix marijuana and tobacco. That seems to be the standard approach in Europe where hash is more common than bud. I don't like the effects of inhaling tobacco smoke with or without marijuana.

I tried to smoke last weekend. Tiny puff instead of a regular one. Didnt really get me high. Smoked some more and got trashed.
I miss that energetic and happy fealing.

How do I vaporize?
Should I try joint mixed with tobbaco instead?

With a vaporizer! Vaporizers range from homemade jobs built out of a lightbulb, to $10 units that you heat with a lighter, to $70 conduction units, and up to $500 for a top-of-the-line convection unit.

My personal feeling is that you get the most bang for your buck from a convection unit that costs around $150, such as the VaporWarz or VaporBrothers offerings. The initial outlay hurts a little but it will soon pay for itself in the amount of stash you save. It makes your weed go a lot farther.

That's up to you, but I wouldn't recommend smoking tobacco to anyone. I don't like the combined effects of marijuana and tobacco on my heart, not to mention the long-term deleterious effects of smoking tobacco.

heres what I suggest. Try to find a bud thats more sativa(has more of a head high). ITs the indica that gives you that tired stone like an unmoveable body. So maybe if you could get some haze,cali orange bud,blueberry,durban poison,white widow(although it can be quite strong), mexican bud is usually more sativa then the stuff thats grown here in the states. Maybe you should try growing. At least check out www.hempcultivation.com might help you find the right bud.

A have heard from a few people the vaping lasts and lasts. Its also A nice high and very very smooth.

The prblem is, I can't find anyone (believe it or not) here in LA, California who has the light stuff.
I tried and tried. Keep running to heavy stuff time and again.
Went to the old place to buy (went there 3 years ago).. No one there.

It is upsetting. I went to the smoke shop to ask for advice because I am not enjoying my smoke. They treated me like I was stupid.

And yes, I can't grow in my house cause I have two kids and a wife. They have no clue

Why can't you smoke like 0.1 gram at a time and wait 15-30 minutes before smoking again? That should solve the "too strong" problem. And moving to Health & Medicine.
