That used to happen to me. I would have no problem smoking, but a couple years later had problems swallowing and a tightness in my throat (didn't feel normal). So I stopped for good while and things are fine now.

I dont know man. My family doctor sent the allergist a note to see if Im allergic to weed. Plus I stopped smoking last November of 2004 and its August and Im still experiencing throat tightness. I was prescribed Alerus. Its 4 small lil pills. Now that its finished, it feels a tiny bit better but my throat still feels tight.

If you're allergic to grass and trees it would make sense that you're experiencing symptoms in the summer.

Allergies can devolop over time, that's why.

Generally, allergens iritate you when you inhale it. So smoking one of your allergens would severely iritate your system. This is just an idea, I'm not sure if it has any correct basis, but try eating weed...

Allergens can affect you by a variety of routes. You can inhale them, eat them, or react to skin contact. I believe that if you're allergic to smoked marijuana you'll be allergic to eaten marijuana as well.

The allergic reactions from marijuana that I have seen are alot more severe than what you have explained. Although each person is different in their reaction to any specific allergen.

I personally dont think you are allergic to marijuana. But none of us are doctors(well, most of us) and none of us have tested you for an allergy, so no one here can tell you for sure.

If you have a reaction when you smoke marijuana you should probably stop smoking. Its as easy as that. Its not worth going to the hospital over. You know how your body better than any of us, so you are going to be the best judge.

Hello again... I talked with my allergy doctor and I mentioned that, and he was telling me straight out with no pause in the background that if your allergic to trees and grass then you will be sensitive to weed. He was telling me that he will give the reports to my family doctor and that I will get the allergy shots so that my immune systems can tolerate it. I bought some new drugs called Benadryl, I took one and now my freakin throat is getting more tighter. Damn I guess its just my bad luck... He told me that if the pills doesnt work that I should contact him.
