Hey whats up, I did a search on that respiratory specialist and all they do is check your lungs. I went to a walk in clinic and he was also telling me it seems more of an irritation to the throat. My lungs are fine I dont have any problems with my breathing except when it felt warm for a good while then it went away. Im going to goto my family doctor this tuesday. Man Im fu&*ing confused man, I dont even know what to do anymore. But surely it is NOT from my head. If its from an irritation then I wonder what I can do to make my throat feel better. The walkin clinic guy told me himself he doesnt know what to say..

Hey whats up guys.... So I decided to try smoking after 5-6 months just too see if Im really allergic to weed or if it was a different cause like the hot weather, something I ate, drink etc. So I went to a friends place and we smoked from a pipe. Well I tried a lil bit of the hash, not much to get me stoned then we were smoking a chronic. After awhile yes I felt all tired and giggly and had the munchies. My real question is after I got home and slept and got back up the next morning I was still experiencing this weird headache like my head felt drunk and I felt so tired like my body still felt drunk. Plus it was hard for my eyes to keep focus. Is this just a short term effect or something is really wrong. How long does the THC wear off your system till your systems are clear?

If you got anytime to check this post http://www.marijuana.com/420/showthread.php?t=40132 Anyways I started really experiencing this weird headache, like this bad pressure all in my head, especially on both sides of my tempo. My eyes had to keep on blinking like crazy thats how bad my head felt, like this terrible tightness pressure I was feeling all in my head.My eyes had difficulties keeping focus omg, I had to keep rubbing the top of my eyes. I did goto the hospital the other day and did some blood work and it was all fine and I was prescribed anixety pills. Of course I felt calm but my head was still feeling a lot of pain. My body was all drained out like crazy, all numb and whenever I would walk around I felt so drained out..... fatigue.... in other words it felt like my body was drunk from head to toe. Today I went to the doctor and previously made some notes suggested from a great fellow member of this website. Great tips given. Anyways I went to the doctor and I got another blood test and I will get the results by friday. Oh my gosh I was afraid that I was going to experience brain damage or that I will feel like this for a long time, and I dont want to experience this. Plus my throat gets a tight up. Its so terrible, it feels exactly when your drunk and I mean exactly, except you didnt drink, you smoked up. My eyes are currently burning me a bit. And last thing my chest feels like it burns a bit like a very weird feeling in my chest. I smoked a tiny bit of hash then the rest was a chronic from a pipe. I was suggested to see the following...... 1. psychiatrist 2. endocrinologist 3. Pulmonologist (No clue what these people do so I may past on this one) I was told that I should get tested on the hyperthyroidism... What do you guys think. In those doctors what can they help you with?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and make a wild guess. Possibly some people are allergic to the tiny spores emmited by grass and trees. Live marijuana might contain some similar things but pot smoke most likely only contains trace amounts of the same allergen. If you react to marijuana your likely reacting to something directly in the smoke. I'm quite allegic to pollen and dust (so bad that one of nostrils is ALWAYS plugged), but i can smoke mj quite easily and the smoke rarely causes me to even cough. P.S: I don't have anything to base this on but it really sounds like the doctor is full of ****.

hey whats up.. This massive headache I was experiencing is going away actually My eyes still have a lil difficult time focusing but man it was so terrible on sunday evening I felt my body was going to drained out for life. the fatigue is disappearing. Maybe it was a side effect. beside I smoked a chronic. The throat tightness is still there but not much. My chest feels a burning, and scratchy. My head still has that feeling but very small. Like this pressure against my head. I got the blood test done for the second time this week and if it comes out fine then its all in my head and that I should see the psychirast < spelt it wrong lol. Maybe its an chemical inbalance... I dont know

umm, isnt what most people are alergic to about plants stuff like the polon. But if your smoking pot, isnt what most people would be alergic to about marijuana THC. So, unless you are alergic to THC, smoking should be fine.

Marijuana allergies suck. I smoked a lot of pot during my sophomore year in high school; I smoked about 4-6 times a day. This continued until the beginning of my Junior year, where I majorily cut down, and eventually quit for a few months. When I started smoking again, I would get horrible allergy symptoms in my throat. They're terrible and they take forever to go away. I would have trouble breathing, my mouth would be producing a lot of saliva, my throat would tighten up and swell, ect... I had none of these symptoms the year I was smoking pot. As of now, it's been 2 months since I last smoked, and I still have some mild throat discomfort from the last puff I took. So the symptoms last a while, and they're a huge pain. The upside to the allergies, is it allowed me to quit pot, which I believe is better for my mental health at the tender age of 17. But on the same token I can't wait for the allergies to go away, so I can smoke again . Anyone with pot allergies...I feel your pain!

| yes i am allergic to grass and i have astma as well. I have been smoking on and off now for 3 years. 4 months ago I had a stroke in the subway when i was high. I believe that this was caused by inflamation in my lungs but I honesly have no clue what caused it. It stoped because the train opperrator ran up to me asking me why me face was so droppy and y i was leaning to one side he told me i was having a stroke, and then it stoped i dont know how or why. o and im only 17 Last edited by lowkeyboi11 : 05-06-2008 at 08:40 PM.
