| My freind has just attained Glandular fever and the doctor says "strictly no drugs and alcohol" Apparently it's a virus that effects the liver and i guess the glands. Well we were both wondering what could smoking marijuana do to the virus. Would it make it worse, what are the negative effects. If inhalation of the smoke is the main concern would eating or drinking marijuana be a better option? Thanks for the help..... |

| glandular fever sounds like another name for mononucleosis -- either way, smoking is not a good idea whne the body is fighting a fever -- it is already off balance, trying to lower temperture, trying to keep the throat soothed, and you need to stay hydrated. A substance that will make you more dizzy, heat up your core temperature from hot smoke, irritate your throat and dehydrate you with dry mouth sounds contraindicated. | |
