Default smoking dieting,and exercise

hey heres another one two months ago i smoked almost everyday ... but just a toke or two just give me the buzz... and started dieting i mean one cup rice fish and chicken per meal... then im also playing tennis everyday,,, then the weight loss came that is 15lbs in 2 mos... i know mj help a lot in the weight loss as in accelerating my metabolism... but question is... is it bad 4 my health doing all those 3 everyday?

As a far as I know marijuana does not increase ones metabolism. Where did you hear that it does?

Besides the harmful effects of smoking any substance, I dont see any particular problem with what you are doing. The other two however are excellent for your health.

Good luck with the diet and exercise. And of course have fun toking.

well i read it here somewhere before... increased heart rate and blood pressure so metabolic rate goes up... and i think the munchies is a signal that we are burning calories if we get high... sorry i dont know where... but it is in this site..

That would make sense. I use it in moderation, and when I do my head is pumping out thoughts like a machine. Then after it wares off I feel somewhat drained, could that drained feeling be from a lack of nutrition? Perhaps I should start eating hemp seed before and after each smoke session.

burning calories i guess... from what i read in here- what happens is that when we get high our blood vessels dilate(dat xplains d red eye) as it happens our ciculatory system compensates for the low blood pressure, meaning more blood and oxygen to our tissues.... thus in my own opinion affects our metabolic rate... it affected my weight, my sex drive,even skin tone...hey i was exercising and dieting and wasnt smoking a few years back to no effect.. had to starve myself just to lose a few pounds.... but enter thc... and im not halucinating.. it has been 7 to 8 days now since my last toke ( i have a little supply problem) and im gaining weight now..by the way the sex drive is very positive... moderation is the key

More likely exercise is the key --. Increasing your blood flow through exercise as your large muscles -- legs, arms, -- help to move blood back through your veins will increase oxygenationation which increases the amount of blood to your cells through your capillary system. Also exercise will cause the circulatory system to increase it's system of capillaries to growing muscles. Those muscles in turn will require fule to work -- thereby burning more calories.

Now smoking makes exercise, in my opinion, a helluva lot more enjoyable and so perhaps that has helped. And perhaps the dilation of the blood vessels might increase the rapidity of oxygenated blood to the working muscles increasing metabolic fuel burning in the mitochondria may occur...but more likely, it's the normal increased requirement of calories for increased use of the body that is showing the effects in terms of weight loss.

By the way, my favorite exercise is still dog walking -- Big dogs...Great when you have bad knees as they just pull you along when you feel achey and those happy wagging tails just make me smile

hey thanks mamabudz, but i dont exercise stoned maam.... but after exercising or playing tennis i take a shower...eat dinner then get high... you see doing this gets me a different kind of high i get light headed,tingling feeling on my arms and legs... and yes the high kinda last longer tc
