Our stressful life has brought on a case of shingles for my mother, which is a reoccurance of dormant chicken pox emerging from the nerves many decades after having the disease, brought on by stress. The after effects for a woman her age (mid 50's) is PHN which is chronic nerve pain. From google and MJ searches it seems like pot would allieviate the pain. I have been a pothead since high school and she was thinking of trying it. My only concern is that for a woman her age, in mediocre health, smoking risks onset of a heartattack and so forth. I know i've been very high before to cause a panic attack, feeling like i have a heart attack, but im only 19 and in good health. Perhaps cooking the dope would help?

Any help would be appreciated

my cousin was born with the the vital organs of the chest in the region where his stomach should have had surgery to correct it but subsequently his heart is weaker than normal he smokes now all the time he even started when he was a little younger it sounds like your mother has nerve problems and that it shouldnt affect her heart being that my cousin has problems directly attributed to his heart and he still smokes as much as me furthermore there is no evisdence that shows that marijuana does more than elevate your heart rate a little and people take runs or jogs all the time for that very reason to get their heart rate up
