Smoking sativa dominent strains seems to increase the possibility of twitching. I've come to this conclusion because I have been smoking daily for the past 2 weeks. The first bag I got was fluffy and gave me a more "heady" high (you actually feel high, not stoned). This weed was impossible not to twitch on. The second bag I got was different bud. This bag was extremely dense and more hairier then the previous bag. It gave me a very relaxed, sleepy, hungry high associated with indicas. The twitching was greatly minimized, sometimes nonexistent! After reading about strains on here, I've come to the conclusion that the first was sativa dominent and the second was more on the indica side. For all of you with the same problem, try smoking an indica batch of bud. This was my experience.

Dude I use to get the SAME thing... like its a big wave of energy or something goes from my toes to my head and where the wave is those muscles twitches... it also can be diorganized... yes I use to get them sooo much.. I thought too i was the only one.

I didn't experience the twitching. But after 13 yrs of being a heavy smoker I had my first panic attack. One day smoked some really good stuff and off I went. I couldn't be still for nothing. Paced a lot, heart racing. Was so glad to get over that high. Wasn't able to smoke again after that. I did go to the dr. and was diaignosed with mitral valve prolaspe (folppy valve) and panic attacks. Went 19 yrs without smoking mj. I sure hated that. Then about 2 yrs ago decided to try a very small hit. Didn't have an attack!! Been taking very small one hits of joint almost everyday. Getting too high for me is not good. Maybe cutting down will help with the twitching.

I've never smoked before, except last night.
My roommates decided that I needed to get high, and I wasnt opposed to it, but After a few hits I sat down, becuase the room was being really weird. I wasnt really comfortable with one of the people there. So I sat down, and I blanked out. I just remember my whole body shaking uncontrolable. Some one got me to my room where I was able to calm down. I found out this morning that I was seizuring from the waist up for close to 15 minutes. Is this just some freak occurance? Or could it be that I had a panic attack, that led me into a seizure? It really freaked me out.

It's been really weirding me out cause I don't know a whole lot about drugs or anything. I am just an occasional user but the past 6 or 7 times it has been the same stuff from the same kid and so that might be it. But I'm not positive if that is why because I smoked it a few times before this problem and nothing happened.

I get the same thing occasionaly it feels like I have whiplash, I get what feels like a current of electricity up and down my spine and I get all twitchy, and in my experience its teh type of weed you smoke the wayyou feel going in to it and paranoia. The three times i've twitched were all from the same bag of weed so naturally I would assume that is the problem. I do always get nervous before I smoke not bad nervous more of an anticpation nervous, and after I smoke I calm myself down but maybe if your twitching you could jsut be freaking out because you think your "twitching" but your actually just nervous and really high...
