Default thc/ mental awareness or plain halucination?

when i sometimes smoke just the right amount... not too stoned.. i feel that im more aware of whats happening around me... like what people talk, what they do... i know this sounds like the high we get from THC, but reading some of the links here in this site about academic performance and thc.. well if i was not in school... but i talk to lots of people and smoke mj...i feel that comprehension and memory is rather enhanced than deteriorated...like i can remember what this guy was talking about a month ago.. and also when i talk to someone i could still eavesdrop to another group of people and can still comprehend what they were talking about and at the same time talk to the person in front of me.. only when im high (moderately)...what im asking now is that besides academics...are our senses somewhat enhanced, or brain function boosted? god bless this plant hope they make it legal!

Enhanced senses. Hallucination, speaking stricly in terms of cannabis, is purely from eating it, simply because of the conversion that happens with THC compared to smoking it. Most people who claim they hallucinate from cannabis are confusing it with imagination. Would you consider a 4-year-old who had an imaginary friend someone who was hallucinating, or even worse, someone who was schizo? Of course not, it's their imagination.

Greetings headsi6

Cannabis contains, along with about 400 other substances, the active constituents THC and CBD. THC (Delta9-trans-tetrahydrocannabinol) is classified as psychoactive-which is a drug or substance that alters brain function resulting in temporary changes in mood, consciousness, and cognitive ablility.

CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoative componant of cannabis that is bio-synthesized by the body into CBN (cannabinol) and is also produced as THC oxidizes or degrades in plants.

The amount of CBD in cannabis varies enormously from strain to strain. CBD generally has a sedative effect regarding the high you experience. CBD, when combined with THC, tends to postpone the beginning of the high, but, the good part is that CBD can make it last twice as long.

The effect that you speak of when consuming cannabis is most likely the combined effect of THC and CBD on your cognitive awareness; the mental process by which knowledge is acquired, and is affiliated with the use and development of reasoning and judgement, intuition, memory and perception (as in your case).

New evidnece is just now coming to light in regards to specifically understanding the synergestic effects of CBD and THC, as well as it's affect on creativity, awareness and cognitive abilities of the human mind.

Due to extremly prejudice laws, and the highly funded support of lobbyist for coroporate/special interest groups (deeep pockets!), have made it very difficult to receivce approval, and subsequent grants to further scientifc study of Cannabis.

Hope this clarifies some things for you......

Default cannabis and its magic effects.

it is interesting to find out what effects any drug has on the concious and the body the apprieciation of what is around us namely nature, sound, feeling and internally thought and perception. is this plant there for a reason i believe it is. if the effect on man is to make him more apprieciative of his home-earth and the creatures that inhabit that world then i say lets throw our arms open and embrace its power. peace.
