| This may sound stupid but hear me out. How many of you out there like to workout stoned? This is assuming a light and pleasant high rather than a comatose concrete shoes high. It's probably not healthy in the long run (though I can't really say why), yet it really allows me to focus on my movements and on the intensity of the exercise, whether it be lifting weights, rowing machine, elliptical trainer. You think it would slow one down but it actually energizes me. There is a known entity of marijuana associated tachycardia which I suppose always poses a threat as a lethal arrhythmia, especially with the already elevated heart rate one gets during exercise. The hard part is getting started though. Often I have found myself glued to the couch in my sweats, unable to do anything except belch. But we won't talk much about those things. ![]()

| it makes the high go away fast. i think it's really nice to work out in some capacity towards the end of a high, that way, it just fades away quickly instead of lingering around.

| I agree with both of you. I love to work out high, and when I kayak high I can do moves I could never do when I'm not high. It's like I don't think about it, and can just do it. However, in doing so, I lose focus on the high and instead focus on what I'm doing. But for me, that is fine. |

| i dont know with you guys but i rather smoke or get high after a workout or exercise.. the high does get shortened if you exercise high... but intense if you smoke after the workout... its like walking on air ![]()

| I love working out while high. Like you said, it gives you a focus on your movements and rhythms, makes it easy to become single-minded and concentrate on the task. It also seems like you can exert yourself more with the same amount of energy, do more reps or more sets. Makes the "burn" feel more pleasant too. It does shorten your high a bit, but I'd rather have half the high and get twice the workout, than have the full high and just spend it watching TV or whatnot.

| All, I love doing everything high and occassionally I do loose focus on the task at hand but I guess that's just apart of the game. ![]() |

| Untill recently I would unload trucks at Wal-Mart for a living. Unloading trucks is an incredibaly streneous activity, and I would love to come in stoned. The focus was increased and I could feel and control every specific muscle, while at the same time having enough attention to maintain an internal dialogue. In this manner I would cheat Wal-Mart of an otherwise normal waste of my time. As to shortening my "high", I did not find this to be the case. Most of the time, regardless of the amount I smoke, my highs seem to last no more than half an hour or so. To each their own I suspose. ![]() |
