| help! i've been put on warfarin following a deep vein thrombosis and have heard tales that it can clash with a toke. Anybody have any info? | |

| Howdy Gren!!! I researched this pretty extensively a while back. The only thing I found related to coagulation (clotting) was a study done to show how marijuana helps migraines. Eating a salad would be faaaar worse than smoking a bowl. Where did you hear that it could be harmful? There is no direct drug-drug interaction with warfarin sodium. Keep an eye on your PT levels and you should be fine. Ask your Cardiologist for the best advice, though. ~~hb | |
