No, you aren't permabaked. If yuou stop smoking, things will likely return to normall. I smoked weed nonstop for a decade, anywhere from a 1/4 to an oz a week, and quit cold turkey. I was back to "normal" within a week of quitting. Marijuana is pretty forgiving in that respect. Most of the negative effects disappear as soon as you quit smoking.

I always found it good to quit for a month everynow and again. Cleans your system totally, saves you some money, and shows that its not adictive

i've wondered the same thing many times before. in a word, no: but when it comes to perception all you've got is the moment and the memory, both of which categorise under the same rules...so how are you meant to know? i'd suggest that if you aint feeling as good as you think you should be to cut it out until you're at a level where you can come to a better understanding of yourself. in all honesty everytime i've ever felt like you've described giving up hasn't made any significant difference other than sharpening my various cognitive sensations...be they comfortable or otherwise. ![]()

I remember when I first started smoking in my freshman year of highschool I really abused it and got high almost everyday for about 3 months. I also remember having that "permabaked" feeling and I decided to quit. (I smoke now, but I'm practicing more responsibility and moderation). Anyways, just try a little detox. Drink some green tea, if you have access to a sauna, use that. Try to get a little exercise and drink lots of water. Flushing your system is great for anything and will no doubt help get rid of that "permabake" feeling by making you feel more alert and awake.
