Default Post-Smoking HeartBurn

It seems like every time i smoke almost everyday in a week, I begin to get this sort of heart burn. More precisely, the day after i smoke, i have this serious heartburn that is terrible and this also happens after fried foods, now. I think it is just because i smoked too much or something (for example, i smoked around 5 gs last night and drank a lot also and now i have it again).

So, any insight to what is causing this( even if it has nothing to do with weed) would be great. Also, any prevention if this also happens to you...

Pot itself shouldn't cause heartburn, although it can irritate the throat, bronchial passageways, and esophagus. It sounds to me like you might be overindulging in food and drink. Don't eat and drink so much, stay away from fried, greasy, and spicy foods, and take a Tums or some other OTC heartburn medication if it keeps up.

Peace.

Take some heartburn medication, that'll help.

I agree. Think carefully about what you may have been eating or drinking while or after smoking. Drinking a lot of alcohol can cause heartburn, especially if you mix it with something acidic like Coke. You may have been eating some unhealthy fried and greasy foods as well.

I suffer from acid reflux which means I have heartburn all the time. A Nexium everyday and I'm fine. Smoking does not cause me heartburn.
