Default psychosis

Research suggests that smoking a large amount of cannabis frequently will trigger psychosis in 1/10 smokers. It is not something science will be able to clinically trial as it is inhumane to test people with a strong possibility of the test causing a psychotic episode.

It is a serious drug, my tip is 1 in 10 is too high a risk when the outcome could be you are a nut case for the rest of your life.

Do a search on google 'cannaabis and psychosis' and read some articles.

The recent campaign to promote the idea that marijuana "causes" psychosis is just a rehashing of the same propaganda that was pushed in "Reefer Madness" in the 1930s. It's right up there with "marijuana makes you a psychotic killer".

The predominance of the Psychosis Cannabis link papers are coming from the UK and are based on a sole study in South London over a 4 year period relating to about 2400 individuals --

The paper reported a possibility for those predisposed to psychosis already as having a slightly greater possibility, four years later, for those who smoked cannabis to report a psychotic episode.

But the study was flawed -- apparently the actual stress of living in increasingly urban and culturally diverse South London was not taken into account. Inability to secure employment and a raise in the poverty levels that would be even greater contributing factors to emotional problems were not added into the "equation" when figuring the causational factors for the psychotically predisposed -- so of course it MUST be the pot

i think that's historically the way of things in most areas though. somewhere down the line i bet even you can be tagged an inbred

i'm thinking it was funded by the home office to substitute for a few rounds of political ammunition after declassification.

"Actually, you might have a point, but not inbred.... I was born in Virginia and am White, but I highly suspect I have a little African blood in me, especially after Jefferson was outed banging his maid's daughter who was black"....
