Default Getting "the shakes" from marijuana

A buddy of mine bought this weed, it was some pretty high grade stuff, anyways we both smoke it and go out to the club and he starts saying he is having the shakes and thought that maybe it was laced or something. I was fine, just stoned, so i didn't really think much of it at the time. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts...

I'd say it's probably an anxiety reaction of some sort.

I get the shakes sometimes when I smoke really good bud. Don't know why, it doesn't really bother me though.

it might be his tolerance...... i remember when i first started smoking weeed i would shake sometimes. and sometimes i would think about stuff that would make me trip hard. buy another bag... if he feels the same way tell him to relax and listen to some music or do somethin that will keep his mind off the high and just enjoy it

This is a good question. I really don't understand what causes "the shakes". Exactly what is happening inside your body? Last week, I had a dimebag. On the first joint, I felt fine. On the second joint, it gave me "the shakes" about five minutes after I finished smoking. I was in the same environment and both joints came from the same bag of weed. I'm an experienced toker and don't have problems with anxiety or paranoia. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Was it the second joint you smoked from it immediately after? Or are we talkin something like the day after you smoked a second and you got the shakes....

I smoked the second joint the next day. And let me add that I get "the shakes" infrequently. It rarely happens. But when it does, I always wonder what causes it.
