Hey, I am posting because I smoked weed that was laced with something, and NEED to know what it is, because it was so incredibly mind-blowing I honestly can’t believe it happened. So, basically, it was all normal for the first 10 minutes, and then the most INSANE stuff started to happen. I listened to a song on my headphones, and something about the sound made everything in my body tense, up, and I involuntarily closed my eyes and honestly, it sounds really strange, but you know that feeling in your head right before an orgasm, when it feels like your mind aches? Well that is exactly what I felt, but in every tiny bit of my body. I had the feeling that it was a kind of flowing feeling throughout my whole body. It was so incredible. It was ecstasy. Now the bad part, and scary part, was that after a little bit of this my heart was beating like CRAZY and I started shivering uncontrollably. I couldn’t get my heart rate down. So that went on for a while, and soon the feeling was starting every few minutes. I remember thinking that this must be a new undiscovered drug, because anything like this euphoria would have everyone in the world taking it. Ok also, after maybe a half hour or so I grew really really paranoid. I kept thinking things were outside, or something was going to get me. I don’t even know. I didn’t hallucinate anything, I didn’t actually see anything that wasn’t there, but when I thought something was there, it was almost like it was there, even though I couldn’t see it. Also, maybe an hour later, my heart was going crazy and my chest sort of hurt. Someone PLEASE tell me what on earth was in that pot. I don’t know WHAT it could have been, but it scared me so badly, but was at the same time so incredible, that I must know.

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME. Someone more experienced in things like what could have been in there.

Need more information. Assuming you can clearly discern the marijuana high, and the high you think you recieved from an off topic substance, how long did each high did each last?
If the normal high was like an hour and the difference lasted only 10 or 20 min, it was probably a small amount of cocaine/crack.
If you still felt it for longer, say more than an hour it may have been a small amount of ecstasy or some kind of acid.
This may also be nothing, people often ask if they smoked laced weed or not. If have seen dozens of these types of posts and the vast majority of time there is no cause for concern.
Can you provide more details? Do you have any of this stuff to look at? If not do you know anybody else that does?
I have smoked a laced blunt (I think it was cocaine) unknowingly before which is the main reason I am posting. I knew as soon as I had finished smoking that it wasn't marijuana I was feeling, far more fast paced both physically and mentally. I was smoking really good bud for about 8 years before this happened and I never felt that kind of high before.

Not to mention, why lace marijuana with another substance? That would only make it more expensive and in no way cut the marijuana.

You can't smoke those drugs. They're very heat sensitive and break down into non-psychoactive compounds before they get hot enough to vape off.

While what you describe as the positive side sounds like a reaction to some form of cocaine, the fact that the high was normal for ten minutes before getting "strange" denies that. Smoked cocaine/crack hits immediately.

I tend to agree with HL - I don't know if I'd call it a "panic attack" but it certainly sounds like some kind of weird idiosyncratic reaction. Have you smoked it again and gotten a similar reaction? Has anyone else you know tried it and had a similar reaction?

If whoever you got the pot from happend to use a scale to weigh the pot before giving it to you, it might be possible that he had a little cocaine on the scale from using it and was too lazy to clean it before putting the pot onto it. If that's how it happend this would probably cause some of the off topic substance to get into the weed. I'm not sayin that's what happend, but a lot of people claim that it would cost too much money for a dealer to lace marijuana.

1) Trace amounts wouldn't have had such a powerful effect. Probably no effect at all.

2) The effects would have been evident within seconds, not after ten minutes.

Instead of a small amount of cocaine, I would imagine that your baggie may have been laced with a small amount of PCP. That would certainly acount for the racing heart and visuals. Just my two cents...

You're weed was laced with music and you had an allergic reaction to the song you were listening to... no seriously, I might've been methamphetamine, in my neck of the woods amphetamine is one of the more popular things that some will lace their weed with to make it seem above and beyond, but if you say the effect took ten minutes then it wouldn't be meth. HigherLogic is probably right about what he says. If it WERE methamphetamine though, I'd be carefull because that drug isn't very well understood right now and if you're too open minded about it you may find yourself caught up in a meth trap. If you think that might be the case but you really liked it go to the erowid site and check out the good the bad and most definately the ungly (physical effects) of the drug, but like he said it was probably just a panic attack or something like that, I get 'em when I smoke quite a bit and they're a total rush (a dubious thrill but, eh...)
