| These are the problems I m having. At night I sleep on my back and when I try to sleep with my head turned to the left I cant. I know it sounds weird, but it just dont feel right. Mabey its just in my mind, I dont know. and when I am working out, their are 2 exercises that when I do them I get dizzy. The back machine where u lean back and when I am working my abs leaning back I get dizzy. and sometimes I will have these weird head feelings. I cant explain them. I do suffer from anxiety though, it could be that just ****ing wit me. I dont have headaches or vision problems, but I keep thinking to myself that its a brain tumor. One of my childhood freinds had a tumor a couple of years ago, and since then I have been thinking i could have one. and I am 21 years old. Any comments would be very appreciated. |

| I agree - see a doctor and you won't have to worry about it any more. I'm not clear as to why you're asking about this on a forum on a marijuana site. Does this have anything to do with marijuana?

| I would ask it on a health site, but i got baned for asking questions about lexapro and weed. I figured somebody might know something about brain tumors on here. Their is a study that says weed helps reduce brain tumors. |

| The study on brain tumor size reduction is very priliminary and is being donw on tumors induced in rats. If you have a problem, it is a current one, not one you can wait 20 years for to find if the research is conclusive. See a neurologist after the New year and set your mind at ease. And feel free to keep posting... FYI Currently there are no reported intereactions between Lexapro and cannabis, but as with all SSRI's Lexapro takes at least 2 weeks to demonstrate effectiveniess and may take a few months of medication adjuetments to fine tune the level of mediucation you should take that will be most efective with the least amoutn of negative side effects. There is also a period of overcoming side effects as your body adjusts to this medication regimen. Using cannabis (pot, weed) during this "ramp up" period can effect your ability to isolate if the medication is working effectively for you, as the weed will create periods of relaxation and elation that the lexapro will not duplicate. In other words, you will become depressed or anxious again when the high wears off, and you may confuse this with the medication not working properly, or may feel it necessary to increase your dosage when in fact you have not yet adjusted to your current doseage. It is often better, then, to try to cut out or cut down on the pot during the introduction of SSRI's and other Anti depressive and anti anxiety medications or during a change in these meds if possible -- especially if you are unfamiliar with how your body responds to introduction of these types of medications. Do get checked out and keep us updated as to what's going on. | |

| I had a friend that died from brain cancer. It was really sad, he had a headache that wouldnt go away for 2 weeks and decided to go to the doctor, and then they found it. They removed it and put a radioactive pellet in his head to kill the remaining cancer cells, but it came back and he passed within a year at 41 yrs old. Please, just to put yourself at ease, see your doctor.Good luck and God Bless! |
