Thanks for looking at this thread, I know you did; otherwise you wouldnt know what i've typed would you? ( just a random bit to get you started )

I've been smoking for a few years now; and where i'm FROM in monroe, Wisconsin ; is an odd but somewhat instictive ritual we have with smoking a cig after we have a bowl. Now over the years i've noticed that once my after pot cig was about half through, my high wasnt ...well really wasnt a high anymore.
Being the narrow minded ditz that we all have the tendency to be, I attributed this to perhaps my amateur ways, AKA being a noob. But, now that i've had my fair share of pretty good bud, and having smoked out of pretty much all of the basic, and semi-advanced utencils of our, very nice smelling trade ; and of course theres the few times as a first timer, and the subsequent three or four times from a pop can BLAH BLAH BLAH; anyway I still have the bad habit of having a cig after my bong; and it tend to make me extra hungry, along with heavy eyelids, and small , minute tingling and and odd cold that comes to my fingertips. It seems to cut my high down to a medium if you get my pun, and its way shorter, and not fun ; theres no laughing fits anymore, no more being really blazed, mind you here in NC i get alot of schwigidy schwag, and I know theres great weed out in the city i live, but I dont have the money, and why when i can get high of lower grade, cheaper stuff right?

The point is, I've NEVER found anyone whos had that as well, and as hard as i focus my mind i still feel ...like ass to say the least. I just came off a 4 day dry streak, and its not as unenjoyable, but i can feel the cold in my feet now too, very odd.

Anyone know anything, please let me know ; im willing to quit cigs, but im going to need some clue at least, as to why it happened.
Cigs make such great stress relievers..i smoke yes, but sure as hell not because some camel in sunglasses told me to.

i find smoking cigs brings down my high smoking cigs weed and drinking at the same time makes me feel totaly sober for an hr or so

If I were you I'd just quit smoking anyways, it doesn't do anything for you. The only reason it relaxes you is because you're addicted to nicotine, and you woldn't be addicted to nicotine if you didn't smoke cigarettes...all in all it just increases your risk of lung cancer and other diseases. You'll only be healthier if you quit, the longer you wait, the harder it'll be.

You're very right, and I have the feeling its going to take some time for me to quit;but ugh i hate the smell and taste of cigs, but oh its so nice after an arguement or what have you, to spark up a cig and think about it.

I think I'm going to take your advice, and if anyone else that reads this wants to quit with me, I'm all for it.

Newguy you seem faily educated, in your opinion what do you think in the cigs is actually bringing down the high; because if you think about it if cigs are stronger and move overpowering than a weed high, even if its schwag, then why the hell are cigs legal and weed not?

A very stern point to throw in the face of a smart ass anti-marijuana rep.
I bet if they got rid of cigs, cancer would be down at least 12% , and what profit is being currently brung in by tobacco sales in the United states could be doubled, perhaps tripled or more by the "safer" , funner, and more respectable, non ass smelling smoke of that sweet magic plant we call COUGH COUGH COUGH.

Thanks for replying, although i still dont know whatthe hell exactly it is causing the disruption of my cloud gazing session, but at least i know im not alone ; thought i was freakin' crazy fora bit.

Nicotine constricts your blood vessels, increasing blood pressure, and I’ve heard it prolongs the high from marijuana and you don’t burn out as fast.

Marijuana has a long history, and an even longer list of reasons why the government is making money off of it being illegal.

I don’t smoke cigarettes, but I am certain the marijuana high is stronger and more over-powering than a cigarette high. You can function very close to perfectly normal after smoking a cigarette, but not as much when you smoke a joint. This is part of the propaganda keeping it illegal.

Of course, and I think more than 12% of cancer would be stopped. Probably the vast majority of cancer would be prevented. Hospitals would no longer have to cure cancer patients, and they would no longer make as much money either.

The way and amount that marijuana affects people varies greatly from person to person. Also, the potency of marijuana varies from place to place. Personally, I can take one hit, and begin to feel the affects of THC.

I think it is a safe assumption to say that THC affects the brain more than nicotine, as far as direct results of the drug in your brain go.

This is indeed very interesting, and i'm glad I got some feedback.
Reading all of this, has truly convinced me, and I'm sick of getting headches from cigs, tired of them messing with my acne, and tired of the disabling ability to sprint longer than the length ofmy 20ft driveway.

I have two cigs left, and im going to enjoy them ; because after them I quit. I'm going to rediscover my weed high, have a good time and not be spening money out of my rear for packs of chemical laced garbage.

Thanks for your input guys; I appreciate it.

Well I know its not my place to put this here, but I thought you migh find it curiously interesting. If you read the other forum then you would know that at the end of it I stated I quit cigs, and i still have yet today. The thing is i smoked a bowl, one bowl of some schwiggity schwag and ive been high for like 3 hours, its great to be stoned again. My high is nice and happy, and i've got a perma mile wedged across my face.

For anyone thats smoking cigs after weed, or smoking the bastards period, QUIT! your high is like that of when I first started years ago !

Tis amazing indeed, and wouldnt have had any backing without yall.
