| Wassup all, just had a question for all the VERY experienced pot smokers/growers in here. What is the easiest way to tell if a plant is mostly indica or sativa, *just* with the buds and not seeing the plant it came off? I know the characteristics if it's on the plant; Indica is a short stalky plant with large broad leaves and a skunky smell usually, and Sativa is more tree-like with very narrow lighter green leaves and a usually earthy/sweet smell. And I also know about the differences in the high and stuff like that, but when you buy buds is there any other way to determine whether it's mostly indica/sativa? just a question that's been buggin me for a while. Thanks ![]() | |

| to stay on the topic the differences of indica and sativa highs are usally indica-nice body stone, very relaxed feeling, ideas flow more easily (atleast your baked brain thinks ideas flow easliy!) sativa- hyper energy, wanting to go off on "adventures" motivated to do stuff. but it really depends on the person, becuz everyone has different experiances

| Your last best guess would be identification through the color of the mature stamens and any residual stalk colouration then decipher it backwards through cross hybridization of purple and blue hazes/ white widows/berries/ and afghans taking into account their basis in the original bland tan, white and green of the common C. indica C. sativa and C. ruderalis. But it sounds like you are concerend with just confirming that what you bought from your dealer is the stuff you paid for. I suggest you sample the wares before buying. | |

| no, it's not like that at all, hehe. I mean, I'm always sure of what i'm buying it's just that I though it'd be cool to see if i could tell most of the time. didn't think so, just thought i'd throw it out there ![]() | |
