i know this thread well be moved to the chemical and pychological forums but i need as many people that come to this forum more repsonses so here it is...

it all started at 11:00pm break when i went and bought 3 j's and 3 people had pot came along too, brandon, cole and travis. we drove to a water tower on the outskirts of my city and smoke 3 joints and the roaches of everyones weed. we sit there for 20mins (im the driver, i need to be kinda outta my peak to drive) then went to 7-11 to by slurpees, we then went back out to the outskirts to park and chill for an hour or so to talk, were there for 30mins all still in a good peak mood (good weed) and im looking back to brandon to comment on how good slushies are and suddenly travis says he hears voices. the 3 of us laughed are asses off at him but he said he was serious. i took mental note of this becuz reading a thread before hand reminded me of how serious auditory hallunations are. we then drove back to school were i had a socials test to wright

later that night me and brandon were sessioning with 2 other people when i reminded them how travis hears things when hes baked, and a new guy chad says he did exactly the same thing too when they went and smoked some time ago. now I really start thinking becuz travis back in gr6. was hit by a car when he was riding his bike and suffered a serious head injury, and just last year when we all played gr10. rugby he had a concusion during a game and the doctor siad if he suffers another he could risk permanent brain damage, so i am wondering, could this be anything from a head injury that causes auditory hallanations? I have never experianced one thank god on my part.

It is very kind that you are concerned about your young friend. Auditory hallucinations in the form of hearing voices is a serious symptom. Given your friends previous health history, he should certainly see a competent neurologist (brain and nervous system specialist) and psychiatrist without delay.

Next time, please put a message like this directly into the proper forum so you don't have quite such a long delay for your response. But you knew that already.

sometimes i've heard voices, but i don't really have any significant brain damage. you can just simply get blazed up enough so you don't really know where you are or what is happening, and then certainly you could think you hear voices.

one time, i was really high and i kept hearing a dog barking. it wasn't like...outside though....it was more inside my head. it was really f*cken weird.

i dont know about voices but when i get realy fried i sware i hear music playing like classic rock but no music is playing and sometimes i hear like things moving but there not but this is only in cases when you are delirously stoned but hearing voices thats just kinda strange man not to sound like a jack a** i am being serious maybe marijuana makes youre friend more in touch with the spiritual realm and maybe he some what taps in to thatrealm and doesnt know it and hears those voices i mean after all shamans used it for those purposes please dont get angry at me becausei am being serious

I had a really cool auditory hallucination the otha day.
I was up at the snowboard hill riding up the chair, and i was really quite baked, and all of a sudden i hear this sound that could almost be compared to a jet passing, but it was more quiet and peaceful, and it was really close to me, it seemd about 20 feet away and lasted about 2 seconds, but it was definately coming from something that was moving, and i asked if anybody on the chair heard a noise, but they hadn't. It wasn't the wind or anything, because it was obviously different, and it wasn't a person or something physical moving. I've only heard it once, and i hope to hear it again, because i beleive it was some sort of being, maybe travelling in a deeper dimension that humans can't normally realize exists.

......my friend and I were getting stoned in an abandoned milk truck in a farmers field and it started raining lightly......I could swear the farmer was walking around the milk truck but it was the gentle beating of waterdrops......Here is my theory....if you tokeing outside where you can get caught you tend to be paranoid....affects of weed are paranoia(sometimes)and boosted creativity......so a combination of being paranoid,and very creative you can tend to hear want you want to hear.....a good example is the rain I thought was footsteps.....I was paranoid listening for danger when the rain was comming down therfore my creative part of my brain worked with the paranoid part comming up with the conclusion it was the farmers footsteps.........I dont think anything is wrong with your friends head its just parinoia combined with mind altering substances.........auditory hallanations arent that all uncommon i wish I could have afew more from time to time ........
