|  getting high the first time Ok, I have heard that many people get high the fourth or fifth time smoking. I smoked the first time like a month ago and got high as a kite. I was wondering does this have anything to do with metabolizing the THC different then everybody else or is it just random? If it does have something to do with metabolizing it, will it affect drug tests in the future? |

| Ok, I was one of these people. From what i have seen, it is that most smokers dont fully inhale the first time. When you have not smoked before, your mind does not want to transfer smoke into your lungs and you tend to inhale like a cigar. I was terrified at the idea of smoking and did not welcome the smoke at all and i apparently didnt absorb any THC, or atleast enough to make me 'high'. I would say that this is the case with most people. If you smoked cigarettes prior to marijuana, i imagine you had no trouble at all riding a buzz. |

| It's not that people don't inhale. I had been smoking cigarettes 2years before my first time. I smoked some but didn't feel much, next time I smoked I got very lazy,cottonmouth and munchies. Then the third time I smoked a lot and it felt like the sky was crushing down on me...Everything was so weird. After that I was getting the normal high... I think it's psychological... |
