I started smoking marijuana about 2 weeks ago... I would smoke everyday two days or so... this one time I got really high I felt like a balloon going up and down and I was here one second then somewhere else... It felt insane, I loved it... but I think there's been some side effects... as I have a phobia of sharp things / needles... it gives me bad headaches and makes me feel tense... I have looked up the side effects thread and doesn't mention what I have... I stopped smoking for about a week now... everyday I would feel very tense and uncomfortable in the forehead and eyes area... it comes and goes... I feel like everything that has a corner is aiming at me... I don't know if this is paranoia but I feel sane and know what's going just the feeling of uncomfort I signed up to ask this coz I've been trying to look for work and this is affecting my daily life

hmmmmm, well the reason why this is hard to answer is because everyone has there own brain. personally i have crappy side effects as well, if i look at a poster of a person on the wall i freak out for some reason, everyone is diffrent certain weird things just get to people...... id say dont smoke for a while 2 weeks to a month, see if it gets better, try and occupy yourself to not think about it, the more you do, you just dig a rutt in your brain and you automaticlly have to think that when you look at a corner as you said. so give that a try and if it doesnt get better, i say see a doctor or a pychoglgist and see what they think about that situtation......

what your feeling is normal. everything except the part of the phobia for sharp needles..? let me explain it to you a lil bit. the headaches is because ur smoking much more frequently.. its kinda of ur body adjusting. like the way u get a headache when u smoke too much weed. secondly the tense and uncomfortable feeling is completely normal, alot of tokers like us, get uncomfortable or thus the techincal term "paranoid"... Id lessen your intake. just remember the less u smoke, the more high you will get. stick to smokin once a week. you should be fine

| Marijuana tends to intensify your mental states. If you're phobic and you get high, the phobia will be intensified and hard to deal with. What's happening now is like an aftershock from the intense experience you had, not a direct effect of marijuana. If you don't smoke it will eventually dissipate. If you desire to keep smoking and not have phobic/panic attacks you'll have to deal with the root cause: the phobia itself. Have you sought treatment for the phobia? They can be beaten. I used to have arachnophobia (spiders) and I deconditioned myself to the point where I've had a tarantula crawl up my arm.

Your freakin' out, nothin' else. Pick up a knife, don't be high, hold it in your hand, look at it, see that you are controlling it, same wit' needles/other objects. If you don't face the fear, you'll get a phobic reaction that may last with you for years. You don't want that, believe me=) If your feeling do not become better in 2-3weeks without weed, smoke again... Sometimes that actually help, but this time come down from the high differently, maybe go to sleep, drink some beer or anything...
