Mixing painkillers and pot?

The other night my buddies and i were tokin up when afterwards we realized one of our friends (with a broken collarbone) was on painkillers...we had already done the deed so there was no going back but he was out of it for the rest of the night and was ghost white....it wasn't a small does of painkillers 70mg if im not mistaken...just the question- im wondering was that a close one or does it even matter?

Would he like die and overdose? No. Marijuana has zero toxicity, and no interference (in a dangerous way I mean) with other substances. It does, however, increase the "high" of other drugs like alcohol and pain killers, so he probably wasn't used to that.

pain killers is an intensifier thus intensifying any drug that u do intake. whether it be alcohol, weed, .. i def wouldnt recommend mixing it with off-topics. but naw, he was just probably 5 times as high as all of you.

it depends on what type of "painkillers" they are. dude if they're regular vicodin don't take more then 8 in 24 hours, you don't want to damage your liver/kidneys due to the massive amounts of tylenol. But ya they go together great, it's pretty fun. Looking at your post again dude probably didn't have the tolerance for the amount he was taking.

As I have some sort of migraine, I'm on painkillers often, it has never interfered wit' my high.
Maybe it was a coincedence and he just had a bad effect from the weed in general, like a panic attack / anxiety?

What that means is, I don't know for sure. I do know that herb will intensify the effect of the painkillers, so theoretically they can have an adverse effect on you. Nothing should be taken for granted.

It is definately not good for someone to be as pale as a ghost. This indicates a slowed heart rate, which could be from the pain killers, but could also be from the combination of mixing the two.

Best not to take any chances, right? You did say he was a friend, right?

well I was perscribed painkillers for over 3 years. I know what painkillers do . when another drug is in your system it will intensify the effect. THUs the BIG ASS LABEL THAT SAYS DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL IS THERE FOR. ps. dont evern doubt my words again, beeeiitch

alcohol n weed is 2 different things...

skunks def right, the reason you are not supposed to drink alcohol with pills is because they are both depressants so they have a combining effect increases sedation and dizziness, possibly even death. Also, the main reason is alcohol+tylenol=bad combination for the liver. Marijuana will intensify the effects of the pills but it won't kill you.
